Dr. Apeksha Desai, MD is a licensed Civil Surgeon and can perform Immigration Medical Exams. These exams are required to obtain a green card with USCIS or other immigration benefits.

Exam Fees:
Initial visit: $225.
Subsequent visit: $100.
In most cases we should be able to give you the completed form during the second visit.
If your paperwork is incomplete during the second visit, you will be required to return for subsequent visits incurring $100 fees for each visit.

Information About the Exam
You will be given an appointment date and time with the doctor.
Please arrive 15 min before your appointment time. The office staff will check you in, and you will be asked to complete screening and medical history forms.
The doctor will review your medical history, vaccination records and perform a standard physical exam
Once we receive the results of your tests, we will schedule a follow up to review the test results, give additional vaccines if indicated and to complete, date and sign the form (additional cost noted above).
Please note: Per USCIS regulations, we cannot accept blood or urine tests ordered by another provider. We have to order these tests and receive the results directly from the lab. Following the above guidelines will reduce your total out of pocket costs.
Submitting the Results of Immigration Exam
After your exam is concluded, you will receive the completed Form I-693 with supporting documentation in a sealed envelope. Do not open or break the seal on this envelope. The sealed envelope must be submitted with your application to USCIS for processing. A copy of the completed Form I-693 and lab results will also be given to you for your records.
